Health Education England would like to invite you to join them for the initial awareness and recruitment meeting, which will take place on Wednesday, 11 January 2023 between 12pm and 3pm in Birmingham (Escape Live Birmingham, which is close to M6 (5 minutes’ drive), has cheap parking nearby, and 10 minutes’ walk from Birmingham New Street Station). A briefing paper is attached with further details for your information.
Nationally there is increasing demand on the Breast Diagnostics service and workforce shortages. The variation in practice needs to be explored and the ACP in Breast Diagnosis role standardised so that we can meet these challenges and future proof the service.
It is crucial that we involve and engage with as many of our colleagues in the Breast Diagnostics service as possible, in order to develop the ACP in Breast Diagnosis role and ensure it is fit for purpose and meets your service needs. We are inviting Service Managers and Senior Clinicians within Breast Diagnostics to assist in this process. With that in mind, please feel free to forward this email on to as many of your senior breast diagnosis colleagues as possible.
