You and your team are invited to attend the ONLINE LAUNCH EVENT of the 123 Approach Health Inequalities training on the 5th November 2024.
Cheshire and Merseyside Cancer Alliance invites you to the launch of its free CPD-accredited health inequalities training – the 123 Approach – the first of its kind in the country!
This event is for you if:
- You have an interest in health inequalities and patient experience
- You have a statutory responsibility to address health inequalities and want a straightforward way to achieve this
- You work with people living with and beyond cancer.
Join us in celebrating the launch of our free-to-access, CPD-accredited training, which provides staff with the knowledge, skills and confidence to tackle health inequalities and improve patient experience across the cancer pathway.
You will learn how to use the learning and free resources in your setting, hear from the patient and staff storytellers who were involved in its development,
and have the opportunity to ask questions with the team.
Feedback from NHS managers:
- “My team are working in a different way since the training, they have increased confidence to change things in our pathway, with big impact!”
- “The 123 Approach training takes the traditional style of sharing patient stories to the next level, breaking it down into not only real-life experiences but supporting learners to understand how health inequalities can creep into every aspect of a patient journey. Those who undertake it will click the ‘end’ button with a different perspective on cancer care and how they can help to bring more equality to cancer care.”
Feel free to share far and wide with colleagues.
