*For CCC Staff only- Recognising Cellulitis in People With Lymphoedema, and What to Do About It

Cellulitis is a common and serious complication in people with Lymphoedema / chronic oedema, needing prompt and robust antibiotic treatment. However, its presentation is not always typical. This webinar will offer tips on recognising cellulitis and the nationally agreed antibiotic regimen to minimise the chance of recurrence and further damage to lymphatic system.


Throughout Lymphoedema Awareness week, there will be free education webinars available for colleagues across all sites to link onto.

The webinars will cover a wide range of topics relating to lymphoedema including:

• causes
• symptoms
• diagnosis
• latest treatment options
• management strategies

They will also feature expert guest speakers who will share their knowledge and experience in treating lymphoedema.

These webinars are open to anyone who is interested in learning more about lymphoedema, especially health care professionals who may see chronic swelling in their own practice.
