This webinar is the first of two which will introduce you to Sarcoma. Part 1 will cover ‘Soft-tissue sarcoma’ and Part 2 will cover ‘Bone sarcomas’. This complex group of cancers derive from primitive-like mesenchymal cells. But what is a ‘mesenchymal cell’? By first introducing you to these cells, this webinar will explain how the different types of soft-tissue sarcoma are derived, paying particular attention to the most common types. Staging, and in particular, grading are important concepts which impact on treatments and outcome and will be explained here in the context of this disease.
