Macmillan Cancer Support Primary Care Conference

Macmillan invites GPs, Practice nurses, Care Co-ordinators, Social Prescribers  and any healthcare professionals working in Primary Care to the Macmillan Cancer Support Primary Care Conference.

CONFERENCE OBJECTIVES

  • To bring together a diverse range of Primary Care Professionals to foster and promote collaborative learning in alignment with Macmillan’s strategic objectives in Personalised Care.
  • To provide supporting information, tools and resources to help upskill and educate the Primary Care workforce in providing Personalised Care to their patients living with cancer.
  • To encourage networking and sharing of innovation with professionals in Primary Care.
  • Engage in workshops to encourage discussion on personalised care, prehab & rehab, health inequalities, digital solutions and the role of care co-ordinators and social prescribers.
  • Hear about some new developments in cancer care and how this impacts on Primary Care

 Registering for this conference will not guarantee a place. We want to ensure we get a diverse range of professionals, therefore the conference team will confirm your place by the end of September.

Once we have confirmed your place via email we will ask you to make your selection on preferred workshops to attend during the day.

Recordings of the conference’s sessions will be shared with all those who inquire about registration after the conference.
