This section supports professionals in signposting individuals affected by cancer to resources that address their spiritual and existential needs.

It brings together sources of spiritual guidance to help professionals offer sensitive, person‑centred signposting. This includes:

  • Spirituality and cancer resources, offering information to help individuals explore meaning, identity and coping in the context of illness.
  • Support from specialist organisations, providing tools, stories and guidance for people seeking spiritual or existential support during treatment or recovery.
  • Professional guidance for healthcare staff, supporting practitioners to approach spiritual conversations with confidence and compassion.

The directory is a place-based resource of psychosocial support services, organised by the Stepped Care Model. It helps professionals find appropriate services based on level of need and location.

The Place Finder quickly locates the correct Place for a given address by using the postcode, helping you access the most relevant services in the directory.
