    As per 1st focus group held on 6th September, please comment/provide feedback/make suggestions on how we best approach patients and ask them about their Community Support


    Cancer patients need different types of support not only from medical professionals but also from within the community. Producing a leaflet/document letting patients know what community support is available and how to access them would be a good idea. If this is given early on this will allow them to access any support needed at a time when they are ready to do so.

    Questions that could be asked in a patient survey are:

    Were/are you aware of any community support available to you?
    Did you know how to access this support?
    Did you access this support and if so did you find it helpful?


    Good set of questions proposed.
