This online HIPE training will equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to tackle health inequalities and improve patient experience across the cancer pathway.
The 123 Approach empowers you to make a real impact within your own role, and offers continued support beyond the training course.
The programme has been designed in collaboration with people who have lived experience of cancer and NHS colleagues working across the cancer pathway. The course is fully funded, CPD accredited and aligned to the ACCEND framework. It should take between 60 – 90 minutes to complete.

Jo Trask, HIPE Programme Lead, and Ellie Gunner-Taylor, HIPE Officer, developed the 123 Approach to Health Inequalities and Patient Experience training at the Cheshire and Merseyside Cancer Alliance. They are passionate about empowering others to tackle health inequalities; and have a wealth of knowledge and experience in the barriers people can face across the cancer pathway.
