• The ePortfolio empowers you to take charge of your learning and career development. It helps document achievements and set future goals.
• It facilitates more informed appraisal discussions, allowing you to select specific capabilities that enhance patient care or support team members in achieving their career aspirations.
•  It provides valuable insights into workforce engagement with capability frameworks and their integration into practice. The data helps identify areas to support workforce retention, encourage education opportunities where gaps exist, and minimize duplication of effort in content creation aligned to ACCEND.
 

•    Watch the 'how-to' video: This will help you get started with using the platform.
•    Log in regularly: Use the platform to document your learning and development gradually.
•    Ongoing process: Understand that healthcare professionals have varied levels of experience, and it's okay if not all CPD and capabilities are documented retrospectively. Treat this as an ongoing process.
 

•    Team Skill Mix: A feature will be added for team leads and line managers to add their staff, identify potential single points of dependency, areas for upskilling, and understand how their workforce comprehends ACCEND.
•    Personal Dashboards: The 'About Me' profile page will include sections for current job role, job description upload, CV, publications, awards, educational qualifications, previous PDR uploads, goal setting from the latest PDR, and key priorities for the next year. It will also enable PDF generation and revalidation form storage.
•    Enhancements: The ePortfolio will be continuously improved to meet workforce needs and remain fit for purpose. Updates and improvements will be shared regularly.
