In 2024, a survey commissioned by the Cheshire & Merseyside Cancer Alliance highlighted significant gaps in knowledge among training doctors regarding cancer tumour markers and their appropriate use. This eLearning module has been designed to address those gaps.
- Module 1, reviews the general principles of cancer tumour markers. While it is primarily aimed at junior doctors, including GP Specialist Trainees and Foundation Year Doctors, the module is also suitable for any clinicians or healthcare practitioners who wish to strengthen their understanding in this important area of practice.
- Module 2 will detail information about specific common Cancer Tumour markers and how they can be used in Primary Care to aid Early Cancer Diagnosis. It is suitable for Junior Doctors (GP Specialist Trainees and Foundation Year Doctors) but also for any other Doctors or Clinical Practitioners who may need to address this as a knowledge gap.
