The Cheshire and Merseyside Cancer Alliance Primary Care programme recently commissioned Red Whale to deliver three GP cancer update courses. In total over 400 Cheshire and Merseyside primary care colleagues attended the three events; 75% of attendees were GPs with the rest of the cohort made up of ANPs, physician associates, GP registrars and medical students. The feedback from the participants has been overwhelmingly positive. Over 50% of the attendees took the time to complete a post-event evaluation survey with 100% of responders saying they would recommend the course to colleagues. In addition 100% of responders reported a positive shift in confidence and knowledge relating to early diagnosis of cancer.
