This section supports professionals in signposting individuals affected by cancer to resources that address the wide‑ranging impact cancer can have on family life, caregiving roles, intimate relationships and social connections.​

​It brings together tools, training and information to enable professionals to confidently guide individuals, towards appropriate support. This includes:​

• ​Parenting and caregiving resources, offering psycho-educational materials and guidance to help parents communicate with their children, manage family conversations, and support young people affected by a parent or sibling’s diagnosis.​
• Professional training and communication tools, designed to help practitioners initiate and manage sensitive discussions with families, including conversations about serious illness, treatment decisions and end‑of‑life care.​
• Resources on intimacy, sexuality and reproductive health, providing guidance to help adults understand and adapt to the physical and emotional changes that may affect sexual wellbeing, fertility and intimate relationships.

• Support for couples and partners, offering materials that explore relationship changes, communication challenges and emotional adjustment.​

• Friendship and social connection resources, recognising the importance of maintaining supportive relationships and reducing isolation throughout the cancer experience.
