New Easy-Read Leaflet on Basal Cell Carcinoma Now Available for Patients

A new leaflet is now available for clinicians in secondary care to share with patients diagnosed with Basal Cell Carcinoma (BCC), a type of skin cancer.

Developed in partnership with the Skin Cancer Delivery Group, communications teams, the Reader’s Panel, and People First—a group advocating for individuals with Learning Disabilities—this easy-read resource provides a clear and compassionate overview of BCC diagnosis, treatment options, and sun safety guidance. It’s designed to help patients better understand their condition and feel more confident about the next steps in their care.
