Protocol for Genomic Testing of Patients with a Diagnosis of Prostate Cancer (R430)

This flowchart has been created for urology teams to help identify patients diagnosed with prostate cancer who are eligible for germline genetic testing for inherited prostate cancer. Only patients meeting testing criteria outlined in the national test directory (https://www.england.nhs.uk/publication/national-genomic-test-directories/)  should have a germline genetic testing.

If you encounter a patient who does not meet testing criteria, but you are concerned about their personal / family history, then please contact Liverpool Centre for Genomic Medicine Hospital.
