Cheshire and Merseyside Cancer Alliance invite clinicians working in general practice to join our webinar, designed to equip primary care clinicians with the knowledge and tools to assess cancer risk through family history and genetics.
Dr Judith Hayward will be covering key topics including:
Case studies based Overview: Understanding how family history impacts cancer risk assessment.
Management within Primary Care: How to manage cancer risk in a primary care setting, with a focus on prevention and early detection.
Predictive Testing: Gene changes and how they impact cancer risk.
Lynch Syndrome: A deep dive into this genetic condition, which significantly increases the risk of womb and bowel cancers, and the role of preventive measures like aspirin.
The webinar will be recorded however, attendance is recommended as there will be a live Q&A.
