Event Description

The 2025 UK Oncology Forum has been confirmed to take place on Thursday 12th and Friday 13th June.  This year, the event is being held at the Harrogate Convention Centre, King’s Road, HG1 5LA.

All Cancer Alliances have been invited to attend and can register, however, this is entirely optional. Registration is free and Cancer Alliances will be able to exhibit a stand if they choose to do so, also without cost.  The costs which would be incurred by Cancer Alliances are limited to travel and any accommodation.

From informal feedback from Cancer Alliances attending last year’s session, in Brighton, it was seen as a good opportunity to network; find out more about emergent technologies and innovations; and enhance connections with professional bodies and third sector colleagues.  It is noted that this is a shared conference week with NHS ConfedExpo 2025 in Manchester Central on 11-12th June, but it may be possible to cover both if this is of interest.

From experience, the event may be of particular interest to either Cancer Alliance ‘core’ teams, or their network site specific (or equivalent) group leads as clinical professionals.

This year, Cancer Alliances have been given a distinct two-hour ‘fringe meeting’, which will be informally chaired by the North East London and West Yorkshire and Harrogate Cancer Alliances respectively in a creative discussion format. Each Alliance in attendance will be provided with the opportunity to participate and contribute to this.
